  • Installing backer boards seems easy but it is not. This is also something you need to make sure that you do correctly.

  • You do not want to mix and spread your ceramic adhesives badly. Again this could cost you money if done wrong.

  • When you grout your ceramic tiles you are left with several choices. Pick the wrong one and you could end up with pinholes and smudges ruining your tiles.

    • In short you need to be able to prepare yourself properly before tiling your surfaces. If you simply go ahead and buy the tiles and materials and think it is just a matter of fitting them into place like you would wall paper then you could be setting up yourself for a costly disappointment.
