Bougainvilleas are possibly the most popular, well liked and one of the most extensively grown tropical plants.It is a native to the shore of Brazil. Philibert Commerson the French botanist, in the 1760’s located the bright and colorful plant and named it Bougainvillea after his friend Louis A. de Bougainville.
